07/03/2018 –The SEAT Ibiza 1.0 TSi 95PS FR has been named the Best Value Company Car at the annual SME Company Car of the Year Awards 2018.
Extending its enviable list of industry awards, the all-new Ibiza secured the Best Value category, further cementing its place as one of the most compelling propositions for SME businesses According to the Business Car Manager Awards.
As the brand becomes increasingly appealing to fleets with new initiatives and exceptional customer service, its popular New Ibiza – boasting a P11D value of just £15,820 and an impressive BIK rate of 20% in 1.0 TSi 95PS FR form – demonstrates the value SEAT’s range offers businesses.
In the rigorous judging process – carried out by an independent panel of SME experts – the supermini was seen as a “clear class winner” owing to its quality, affordability and style, not to mention its accessibility via the popular four-day test drive scheme.
Editorial director of Business Car Manager, Ralph Morton, said: ''SEAT has been consistently expanding its presence in the SME small fleet sector with a growing range of fine cars. The new Ibiza is no exception, underpinned by excellent running costs, low company car taxation and SEAT's compelling four-day test drive programme. It's little wonder the judges put the Ibiza significantly ahead of rivals."
SMEs can experience the Ibiza through SEAT’s extended four-day test drive scheme, providing businesses with an easy way to arrange a test drive of any model, including the Ibiza. Simplifying the decision-making process, test drives can be organised via the Fleet & Company Cars section of www.seat.co.uk.
The feature-rich trim includes a set of 17” ‘Dynamic’ alloy wheels and an 8-inch touch-screen to keep drivers comfortable and connected on any journey, as well as a Tiredness Recognition system and Autonomous Emergency Braking to keep them safe.
The Ibiza’s frugal yet punchy 1.0 TSi 95 PS engine rounded off the award-winning entry, ensuring total cost of ownership (TCO) is low with a combined 60mpg, while still delivering a dynamic driving experience.
SEAT UK Head of Fleet and Business Sales, Peter McDonald, commented: “Since the Ibiza’s launch last year, the reaction from SMEs has been nothing short of fantastic, and this award is proof it’s a result of the work being done to make an unbeatable value proposition. Add to that new initiatives like the four-day test drive scheme and investment in the wider fleet team, we are delivering a great customer journey for businesses.
“For SMEs value is a critical consideration, but combined with a company car that can showcase dynamic design, driver appeal and the technology that the Ibiza possesses means it has become a real hit.”
