  • Laura Margott joins SEAT UK’s Press & PR team as Holly Williams leaves to start maternity leave

After three years heading up SEAT’s UK media events, Holly Williams is heading off on maternity leave today. The hard-working events guru has timed her “holiday” to perfection, just as the Spanish brand starts ramping up for its new, largest ever product offensive, with six new models confirmed between 2018-2020.

Coming in to look after SEAT UK’s relentless events calendar, with eight events confirmed before the year is out, including the renowned SEAT UK media Christmas party in London next month, is Laura Margott.

Laura, 27, formerly of Vauxhall’s PR & events team, is already getting to grips with the SEAT brand and its heady growth plans, and, as fate would have it, even broke her Barcelona duck in September. Which is handy, as she’ll be spending quite a lot of time out there over the next few months.

On her arrrival, she commented, “I know that SEAT’s flying over here, as well as internationally, and that the brand has quite a reputation for memorable UK events. So, I’m really looking forward to the challenge over the next year or so and can’t wait to get involved.”

Andy McGregor, SEAT UK’s Head of Marketing & Press & PR, added, “We’re really sad to see Holly leaving us temporarily, but, look forward to meeting baby Williams in a few weeks time. Getting Laura on board is fantastic for us. She’s got a wealth of experience in events and knows many of our media, so I’m sure she’ll hit the ground running. The fact that she’s also a keen triathlete is a bonus, as she’ll clearly fit right in with Mike and my strenuous fitness regimes, not to mention Katie’s healthy eating programme!”
