  • Third-generation SEAT Leon was brand new from the ground up. Introduced as a five-door hatchback at the 2012 Paris Motor Show, with three-door SC and Estate versions following (Geneva 2013 and Frankfurt 2013 respectively)
  • Significant revisions introduced across Leon range in February 2017, including revised exterior styling and equipment (particularly safety and technology)
  • Range-topping Leon CUPRA 300 versions – five-door and Estate – gain 10 PS power hike to 300 PS and crucial increase in torque from 350 to 380 Nm, on tap across broad rev range
  • Estate body style gains 4Drive for first time for ultimate all-weather and versatile performance estate
  • Leon CUPRA Estate gains added traction and handling prowess from 4Drive all-wheel drive system
  • Built on the Volkswagen Group MQB platform in SEAT’s Martorell production facility

  • Electrically controlled mechanical front differential improves high speed cornering response
  • Leon CUPRA R (five-door only) was launched in 2017. 799 examples were confirmed, of which 24 (front-wheel-drive manual gearboxes 310PS) were allocated to the UK and sold out in just a few week
  • Leon CUPRA R Estate became most powerful SEAT ever produced upon launching in the UK in Spring 2019 with optional ABT tuning pack increasing power output to 350PS
